Annie's Pizza Tour

Yesterday I learned from Moms Meet that Annie's (who prides themselves in making products with simple, real ingredients) has now expanded their product line to include pizza.  They now offer family-sized Rising Crust Pizza made with organic ingredients.  They currently have 3 flavors:  Uncured Pepperoni, Four Cheese and BBQ Recipe Chicken.  Annie's is the first rising crust pizza made with organic ingredients and natural meat toppings.

From September 29 through mid-November, Annie's will be taking their mobile pizza kitchen and organic garden on a 6,000 mile, nationwide, 11 city tour, offering samples of all 3 pizza varieties.  The pre-arranged stops will be at family-friendly events, such as farmers markets, youth sporting events and parks.

Sept. 29-30 - San Francisco Bay Area
Oct. 5-7 - Denver CO
Oct. 10 - Des Moines, IA
Oct. 12-13 - Chicago, IL
Oct. 16-17 - Cincinnati, OH
Oct. 20-21, 23 - New York, NY
Oct. 24-25 - New Haven, CT
Oct. 27-28 - Philadelphia, PA
Oct. 31, Nov. 2 - Atlanta, GA
Nov. 3-4 - Nashville, TN
Nov. 7-8 - Minneapolis, MN
Nov. 14-16 - San Francisco Bay Area

The Slice of Happiness Tour will serve pizza and have a number of family oriented activities. Visitors can take family photos with Bernie, the Annie's mascot. Visitors will also have a chance to win prizes, pizza coupons or an appearance on Annie's "Slice of Happiness Tour" website.   Fans can also show their support by using the hashtag #sliceofhappiness on Twitter or Instagram.

If you are a fan, but Annie's is not scheduled to stop in your area, you can request a special detour stop in your area at www.anniespizzatour.com.  They don't indicate how many detour stops they will make, but if your area gets enough requests, who knows, you may have an opportunity to try sample free pizza.
