If you are looking for a way to increase your savings, check out Endorse.  Endorse is available for both iPhones and Android phones.  Once you sign up and install the app, you will be given a list of offers for a week.  New offers are available each Thursday.

Some offers are a set percentage, such as 10% cash back on Any Brand:  Frozen Pizza.  Some weeks you will have an opportunity to upgrade an offer, such as Up To 50% cash back on New iD Gum.  To upgrade an offer, you simply select the offer and tap on Upgrade to 50% (or whatever the new percentage is).  This will share the offer on your Facebook page.

New Life for Expired Coupons

A while ago I learned of Expired Coupons for Overseas Military.  Military families can use manufacturer coupons at the commissaries for up to 6 months past their expiration date.  I contacted ECOM and adopted a family.

Now, each month I gather up my expired coupons, and any coupons that I don't want from the inserts, package them up and mail them off to a family in Germany.  The picture above is just half of what I mailed out this month.  I mailed out approximately 1685 food and non-food coupons, with a potential savings of $2,739.  It feels good to help others.

Earn Cash Back With Ebates

If you shop online, you can optimize your savings if you log into Ebates and link to your favorite stores through the Ebates site.  They offer a percentage of cash back on your pre-tax purchase amount.

For example, if you are shopping at Kohl's and you spend $100 after and discounts and before tax, you will get $3 credited to your Ebates account.  3% is the normal cash back percentage for Kohl's, but during the holidays they often in crease it, sometimes as high as 6%. 

The percentages of cash back vary quite a bit by site.  While Kohl's offers 3% back, JC Penney is currently 8% back.  Snapfish is 20% cash back!

Ebates pays out quarterly as long as you have accumulated $5.01.  Personally, I enjoy shopping online for many things because I feel I can achieve a greater savings.  I will use Kohl's as an example again...I may get a 15% off or 20% off code in the mail, but sometimes I can find a 30% off code and a free shipping code to use online.  Top that off with cash back from Ebates and I end up paying less for an item than I would have if I had packed two kids into a hot car, driven to the store only to find that they didn't have the item in the right size or color, etc.

Progresso Recipe Starters - BzzAgent Campaign

If you are have not tried Progresso Recipe Starters yet, I would definitely recommend trying at least one.

I received a free can of Creamy Parmesan Basil from a BzzAgent Campaign. There are several things I noticed right away that made this product appealing to me: there is a recipe right on the can, and the ingredients required to make the meal are pretty normal, as in you do not have to hunt down some hard-to-find item that costs an arm and a leg just to make one meal.

You can check out Progresso's website for 30 different recipe to use their sauces. Each can also has a QR code for quick access to the recipes.

We have two little ones that tend to get cranky and clingy when it is time for me to make dinner. For this reason, I prefer recipes that are quick and easy, as well as tasty. The Creamy Chicken Alfredo worked great. I made this for dinner the other night and it was a hit. My husband liked it and told me he would like to have it again some time. My two picky eaters even ate it.

I liked the first recipe so much I decided to buy a second flavor and give it a try. Tonight I made Parmesan Chicken using the Fire Roasted Tomato. this meal was a bit more time-consuming to make than the previous dish, but it was well worth it!
